A letter to international students of Ningxia Medical University

亲爱的留学生同学们：

Dear International Students,

    大家好！值此中国传统新春佳节，学校向你们和你们的家人致以最诚挚的问候！

    Happy Chinese New Year and all the best for you and your family!

    近段时间来，中国部分地区发生了新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，同学们的健康与平安是当前学校最重要的关切。截至目前我校尚无新型冠状病毒感染的患者。

    Recently, the respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is breaking out in some places of China. Your safety and health are the highest priority of Ningxia Medical University. Up till today, there is no 2019-nCoV patient within our university. 

    为有效切断传播途径，降低同学们被感染风险，无论你身在何处，请务必不要提前返校，何时返校请等候学校正式通知。如条件允许，请在原地停留，避免跨区域移动，直至学校发布正式通知后，再订购机票或车票。在校的同学请严格遵照辅导员老师的建议安排假期学习生活。如在银同学希望回国，请向国际教育学院提出申请。若你在中国其它城市并希望回国，只要身体健康，向我们发邮件履行请假手续，说明回国时间、搭乘航班和目的地即可回国。

    In order to cut off the transmission channels, reduce the risk of your being infected, no matter where you are at the moment, in your home country or travelling in China or elsewhere, please do not return to the University until further notice. Please wait for the University Notice on the Start of the Spring Semester. If possible, stay at the place where you are right now, avoid intercity transportation, and book your return tickets after University Notice on opening time is issued officially. For those students in the campus please arrange your holiday affairs by abiding by the advice from your students advisors. Students in Yinchuan who plan to return to your home country should apply to the School of International Education. Students in other cities of China and wishing to return home, as long as you are in good health, can go back to the home country after sending us an email fulfilling the leaving form, stating your return date, flight No. and final destination.

    请大家时刻关注自己的身体状态，坚持健康的生活习惯，严格做好防护措施，停课不停学，合理安排学习生活。      

    Please make sure your physical wellbeing, maintain healthy living habits, take effective self-protective measures. Please also arrange your self study and life properly wherever you are.
